| Blue Line Taxi was founded in
1984 and has grown to become the largest taxi brokerage in Hamilton.
Over half of the City's 400 taxi licences operate at Blue Line.
We are an environmentally friendly company. Many of our vehicles use clean burning alternate fuels. Blue Line was profiled
in 1997 and again in 2003 by Natural Resources Canada as part
of its FleetSmart
Energy Management Program.
Blue Line developed TaxiMan, a Windows based, computer assisted
call taking and dispatching system. The program allowed us
to respond quickly to customer needs and placed us on the
cutting edge of new technology. Taximan has now evolved to
a fully computerized system serving our passengers with mobile
data computers in each taxi and GPS to match each address
with the closest driver. It's quick and it's quiet.
Although we are the most technologically advanced cab company
in the City, in the end our real strength is the quality of
the people who drive the vehicles and work in the office.
